MUNAP-DGB 2025: 'Finally giving shape to the new mutual as we want it'

This statement by the PCA of MUNAB-DGB summarizes the essence of the work of the 28th Session of the Board of Directors of MUNAP-DGB held on January 21, 2025, in Yaoundé. Indeed, Mrs. Menguele Judith Clairence, née Bodo, invited all members to get ready to proudly carry the new colors of the association in 2025.

July 15, 2023, will forever be remembered as the date of change in the history of the Mutual of the staff of the General Directorate of Budget. While it marked the entry of a new leadership team, both at the Executive Bureau and the Board of Directors, it especially materialized the beginning of the 'New-Look Mutual' announced by the Executive Director, Flore Goma. Since then, a more vibrant mutualist spirit has been observed, which needs to be perpetuated.

This justifies the holding of this 28th extraordinary Session of the Board of Directors chaired by Judith Clairence Menguele, in the presence of all members. It was a matter of reflecting not only on the ways to better prepare mutualists for this great annual meeting but also on the progress of the preparations for the General Assembly, which will be held the day after the conference of central and decentralized services of the Ministry of Finance. It will also be a question of agreeing on the validation of the resolutions proposed by the Board of Directors during recent sessions, notably the change of the association's name, the new formula of which will be unveiled during the said GA by its president, Cyrill Edou Alo’o.

A real takeoff, with a non-exhaustive list of tasks that the new leadership team, which will be known at the end of the elections scheduled during this General Assembly, will be responsible for piloting.

This extraordinary session focused on the components of the GA, while recalling the new dynamic that now induces a lively involvement of all members for the smooth running of the Mutual.
